It only makes sense with half our team being STAR WARS fanboys that we end the year on a STAR WARS movie.
We’ve had two years to ponder some theories. Two years of wondering who Rey was? Who her parents were? If she connected to Luke in any way. How about who Snoke was? Who Ben Solo was? Why has he submitted to the dark side? And other stuff. There’s just a lot of things. A lot. Of things.
But we’re here now with episode 8, the middle child of the cinematic trilogy. Director Rian Johnson (Looper) takes the reigns from J.J. Abrams and pushes a fanboy’s limits and expectations. At least OUR fanboys for the most part.
There’s a lot of talk in this, almost, two-hour podcast. You have been warned.
Alumni Chad (@getyourgeer) comes back to the kitchen table for this episode and tells us about his red carpet experience from THE LAST JEDI premiere and Mark Landucci (leavingtodaypodcast.com) joins us again because, well, it’s Disney related and it falls in line with what he talks about on his show so it makes sense. Plus he’s still our friend. Maybe should have lead with that.
